Information you give me directly
You can read most of this site without giving any personal information. You only share personal details when you choose to, for example when you:
- subscribe to the newsletter, where I collect your name and email address
- send a message through the contact page or by email, where I receive whatever you include
- leave a comment on a lesson, where I collect the name, email, and any website you enter
I use this information only for the reason you provided it, such as sending you lessons or replying to your message.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, Artistic English automatically records some technical information when you visit. This may include your IP address, browser type, device, the pages you view, and the time and date of your visit. This data is used to understand how the site is used and to keep it secure. It does not personally identify you.

The newsletter
If you subscribe, your name and email are stored with an email service provider so I can send you new lessons and updates. I do not sell or share your email with anyone else. Every newsletter includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time. Once you unsubscribe, I remove you from the list.
How your information is shared
I do not sell your personal information. I share it only with the services that help run this site, such as the website host, the analytics provider, the advertising network, and the email service, and only to the extent needed for them to do their job. I may also disclose information if the law requires it.
Data retention
I keep personal information only as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected, or as long as the law requires. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe. Comment data stays with the comment unless you ask me to remove it.
Your rights
You can ask me to show you the personal information I hold about you, correct it, or delete it. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter whenever you like. Artistic English is meant for students preparing for school, admission, and job exams, and much of its audience is teenagers. I do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are under 13, please do not subscribe or submit personal details without a parent or guardian’s involvement. If you believe a child has provided information here, contact me and I will remove it.
Security
I take reasonable steps to protect the information collected through this site. No method of storing or sending data over the internet is completely secure, however, so I cannot promise absolute security.

This policy covers only Artistic English. When you follow a link to another website, that site has its own privacy policy, and I am not responsible for how it handles your information. Please read the policy of any site you visit.
